Are You a Good Kisser?

. You have separate circles of friends and it doesn’t matter.

As mentioned above, you should have a life completely different than your partner’s. This different and universe involves a group of friends which your partner might not be interested in and same goes for you and that is completely okay. Your life doesn’t revolve around your partner, therefore they don’t have to be in your every social circle.

8. You admit mistakes and accept apologies.

Owning up to your mistakes and making amends is one of the most important sign of maturity. It’s okay and very humane to make mistakes, but what is important is to accept them and apologise in order to move forward rather than making excuses.

9. You follow a routine but can be spontaneous when you feel like it.

Not all long relationships have to loose their spark. You can be mature and still have a connection that will make you do adventurous things. You are responsible and follow a schedule but if you take out time to be a bit wild and spontaneous that means your relationship is strong enough to adapt to things and situations that are uncertain.

“And then I opened my eyes and it was just Grace and me – nothing anywhere but Grace and me – she pressing her lips together as though she were keeping my kiss inside her, and me, holding this moment that was as fragile as a bird in my hands.”
― Maggie Stiefvater, Shiver

“Her lips touched his brain as they touched his lips, as though they were a vehicle of some vague speech and between them he felt an unknown and timid preasure, darker than the swoon of sin, softer than sound or odor.”
― James Joyce, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man

“Adrian Ivashkov wasn’t easy to surprise, but I surprised him then when I brought his mouth toward mine. I kissed him, and for a moment, he was too stunned to respond. That lasted for, oh, about a second. Then the intensity I’d come to know so well in him returned. He pushed me backward, lifting me so that I sat at the table. The tablecloth bunched up, knocking over some of the glasses. I heard what sounded like a china plate crash against the floor.

Whatever logic and reason I normally possessed had melted away. There was nothing but flesh and fire left, and I wasn’t going to lie to myself—at least not tonight.”
― Richelle Mead, The Indigo Spell

“Adrian tipped my face up toward his and kissed me. Like always, the world around me stopped moving. No, the world became Adrian, only Adrian. Kissing him was as mind-blowing as ever, full of that same passion and need I had never believed I’d feel. But today, there was even more to it. I no longer had any doubt about whether this was wrong or right. It was a culmination of a long journey . . . or maybe the beginning of one.
