Are You An Idealist, Realist, Or Surrealist?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic Are you an idealist, realist or surrealist? Being an idealist in my opinion doesn’t helps in the real life. But if you look at it from the point of view of writers then you would realize that it is actually a good thing. The fact is that the majority of these idealistic people have a very good imagination. Their creative parts of the brain are much more developed than others. Don’t think that they are left-brained as that theory is nothing but a hoax. It is as untrue as that “We only use 10% of our brain”. There are many different things which we should know when we are citing these studies. We should take time to read those study papers and see for ourselves what is actually there in that study. Also, we need to see if that study have been published by any major journals. You need to also check the authenticity of the journal. If you could do that then only you would be in a position to cite that study. Also, you could also keep in mind that a normal person decoding the study and a researcher doing it is very different. The fact is that we could easily misinterpret those scientific studies. If we don’t do this then it would very difficult for us to know about it. Also, being a realist really helps as it keeps your expectations in check and you could also better plan out different things. While as there are cons of every possible real thing there are some cons to realism too. It is more than likely that realistic people would have a hard time while finding innovative solutions to a problem.I hope you liked my short article. If you have any insights into the topic then feel free to share it down into the comments section below. Play the quiz as well and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. I hope to see you in my next article.

“Falling in love is very real, but I used to shake my head when people talked about soul mates, poor deluded individuals grasping at some supernatural ideal not intended for mortals but sounded pretty in a poetry book. Then, we met, and everything changed, the cynic has become the converted, the sceptic, an ardent zealot.”
― E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly,

“For, after all, you do grow up, you do outgrow your ideals, which turn to dust and ashes, which are shattered into fragments; and if you have no other life, you just have to build one up out of these fragments. And all the time your soul is craving and longing for something else. And in vain does the dreamer rummage about in his old dreams, raking them over as though they were a heap of cinders, looking in these cinders for some spark, however tiny, to fan it into a flame so as to warm his chilled blood by it and revive in it all that he held so dear before, all that touched his heart, that made his blood course through his veins, that drew tears from his eyes, and that so splendidly deceived him!”
― Fyodor Dostoevsky, White Nights and Other Stories

“I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are good people and bad people. You’re wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.
― Terry Pratchett, Guards! Guards!

“There was only one guy in the whole Bible Jesus ever personally promised a place with him in Paradise. Not Peter, not Paul, not any of those guys. He was a convicted thief, being executed. So don’t knock the guys on death row. Maybe they know something you don’t.”
― Neil Gaiman, American Gods

“I’m not ready to let the youthful part of myself go yet. If maturity means becoming a cynic, if you have to kill the part of yourself that is naive and romantic and idealistic – the part of you that you treasure most – to claim maturity, is it not better to die young but with your humanity intact?”
― Kenneth Cain, Emergency Sex: And Other Desperate Measures
