Can We Guess Your Gender?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic Can we guess your gender? As you might have noticed the modern society is still plagued with many of the gender stereotypes. Modern society doesn’t treats it as a problem and even if a few section of the society recognizes it they fail to address the situation.

The problem with most of the people is that they fail to identify the root cause of these issues. It happens due to the fact that our education system doesn’t imparts critical thinking into the children. A part of the problem also occurs due to the fact that parents had also fallen prey to these stereotyping. Now they might not even know about it and teach it to their children. Whatever we learn during our childhood have a great impact on our later lives. It is due to the fact that our subconscious minds gets programmed during those years.

If we pay a careful attention to what we teach our children then without much effort we could create a drastic positive change in our society. This type of thinking often leads to various criminal activities for example in many of the developing countries women are still considered to be at home and take care of the children. It is considered to be their primary duty. Now if they try to break out of it they face severe consequences and are often shamed by the society or may even face domestic violence. Similarly males are expected to be the earning members of the family and if they fail in it then they might have to face rejection from the society and they may have a tough time. It is a very sad reality of the modern world.I hope you liked my short article.

“I knew I was different. I thought that I might be gay or something because I couldn’t identify with any of the guys at all. None of them liked art or music. They just wanted to fight and get laid. It was many years ago but it gave me this real hatred for the average American macho male.”
― Kurt Cobain

“He always thought of the sea as ‘la mar’ which is what people call her in Spanish when they love her. Sometimes those who love her say bad things of her but they are always said as though she were a woman. Some of the younger fishermen, those who used buoys as floats for their lines and had motorboats, bought when the shark livers had brought much money, spoke of her as ‘el mar’ which is masculine. They spoke of her as a contestant or a place or even an enemy. But the old man always thought of her as feminine and as something that gave or withheld great favours, and if she did wild or wicked things it was because she could not help them. The moon affects her as it does a woman, he thought.”
― Ernest Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea

“the wounded child inside many males is a boy who, when he first spoke his truths, was silenced by paternal sadism, by a patriarchal world that did not want him to claim his true feelings. The wounded child inside many females is a girl who was taught from early childhood that she must become something other than herself, deny her true feelings, in order to attract and please others. When men and women punish each other for truth telling, we reinforce the notion that lies are better. To be loving we willingly hear the other’s truth, and most important, we affirm the value of truth telling. Lies may make people feel better, but they do not help them to know love.”
