How Dominant Is Your Personality?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic How dominant is your personality? It has been found time and again that we humans although different, we could be classified into certain groups. Different psychology tests classify you into different groups. Those group names may vary but they are essentially all the same. Also, different psychology tests are different in what they do. Some are more accurate in pointing out your preferences like the MBTI while the others are may be good at finding your motivation behind the things you do like the Enneagram.

It is one of the most interesting features of the personality tests. But when we are talking on this topic I would like to point out that most of the personality tests you find online are not scientifically validated like the MBTI and Enneagram. Though they are insanely famous yet there is no scientific evidence that those personality types exist. But if you look at them a bit closely you would find that there are people who are like the ones described by those tests. It is also true that tomorrow if you want to design a personality test and I am pretty much sure that there will be people who would relate to that. Now you might think that they all are bogus but if you want to be on the safe side then you could take the HEXACO PI-R test which is scientifically validated.

And the interesting thing about this test is that unlike some other popular tests it doesn’t assigns you a group name. It merely rates you on particular traits. They give you the percentile on each of the traits and sub-traits. It is the most accurate in my opinion.I hope you liked my short article. If you are someone who is into personality tests a lot then I would recommend you to take the HEXACO PI-R test as it is the most accurate one in my opinion. If you have any thoughts feel free to share it down in the comments section below. Play the quiz as well and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family.

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.”

“I feel too much. That’s what’s going on.’ ‘Do you think one can feel too much? Or just feel in the wrong ways?’ ‘My insides don’t match up with my outsides.’ ‘Do anyone’s insides and outsides match up?’ ‘I don’t know. I’m only me.’ ‘Maybe that’s what a person’s personality is: the difference between the inside and outside.’ ‘But it’s worse for me.’ ‘I wonder if everyone thinks it’s worse for him.’ ‘Probably. But it really is worse for me.”
― Jonathan Safran Foer, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

“There’s such a lot of different Annes in me. I sometimes think that is why I’m such a troublesome person. If I was just the one Anne it would be ever so much more comfortable, but then it wouldn’t be half so interesting.”
― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

“I used to think that finding the right one was about the man having a list of certain qualities. If he has them, we’d be compatible and happy. Sort of a checkmark system that was a complete failure. But I found out that a healthy relationship isn’t so much about sense of humor or intelligence or attractive. It’s about avoiding partners with harmful traits and personality types. And then it’s about being with a good person. A good person on his own, and a good person with you. Where the space between you feels uncomplicated and happy. A good relationship is where things just work. They work because, whatever the list of qualities, whatever the reason, you happen to be really, really good together.”
― Deb Caletti, The Secret Life of Prince Charming
