Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic How self-aware are you actually? Self-awareness is one of the rarest quality that you could find in someone. I don’t know the exact reason for this but I have seen that some personality types are naturally more self-aware than others.
You might feel sad for yourself if you are not but hey everything has pros and cons. Being too much self-aware causes more harm than good. The reason I say this is because I am just too much self-aware of myself and so whenever I know that someone is watching what I am doing then I tend to underperform in that particular thing. I have tried a lot to improve upon it but it just doesn’t seems to work. By the way I am an INFJ and I don’t know how to overcome this.
There are also other types who lack it completely. In fact I would say most of the people don’t do it and this is why there is so much chaos in the world. There is greed, injustice and cheating going on all over the world. One of the prime reasons which I think behind all this is lack of introspection. People don’t reflect on what they are doing. They would never question any the societal norms, their favorite political parties, the brands which they use the product or service of, and even themselves. It is sad to see that due to this lack of introspection the world is heading where the brands, political parties and other powerful people want them to be.
We don’t realize the fact that they just want their profits. They don’t care about us. I am not saying everyone is like this but yeah a majority is like this.I hope you liked my short article. If you have any further insights into the topic then feel free to share it down in the comments section below. Play the quiz as well and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family.
“I am not an angel,’ I asserted; ‘and I will not be one till I die: I will be myself. Mr. Rochester, you must neither expect nor exact anything celestial of me – for you will not get it, any more than I shall get it of you: which I do not at all anticipate.”
― Jane Eyre
“Part of the problem with the word ‘disabilities’ is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted. But what of people who can’t feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren’t able to form close and strong relationships? And people who cannot find fulfillment in their lives, or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities.”

“I think that we are like stars. Something happens to burst us open; but when we burst open and think we are dying; we’re actually turning into a supernova. And then when we look at ourselves again, we see that we’re suddenly more beautiful than we ever were before!”

“The difference between my darkness and your darkness is that I can look at my own badness in the face and accept its existence while you are busy covering your mirror with a white linen sheet. The difference between my sins and your sins is that when I sin I know I’m sinning while you have actually fallen prey to your own fabricated illusions. I am a siren, a mermaid; I know that I am beautiful while basking on the ocean’s waves and I know that I can eat flesh and bones at the bottom of the sea. You are a white witch, a wizard; your spells are manipulations and your cauldron from hell yet you wrap yourself in white and wear a silver wig.”
