How Well Do You Know Your Boyfriend?

Love can be a very tricky game for simple-minded people. There are no said rules to play it and mostly you are on your own. There are many fake relationship gurus who would give you useless tips to make your way out of it. But the fact is that most of them are highly oversimplified or comes from sheer lack of experience.

While I will like to clarify that I am not a relationship guru but I have been into a few relationships and could give a few tips based on my experiences.

1. The first tip is that you need to check is whether the future of goals of you and your partner are compatible with each other. If the future goals are tending to diverge then be rest assured that the relationship will not last long.

2. You should also check if your partner is emotionally stable. Emotionally unstable people are very hard to manage and more often than not you will be solving their life’s problems. While it is not that they are bad at heart, they can be extremely loyal but their emotional instability is often the cause of many of the problems in a relationship.

3. You must know about their previous relationships and if they have any loose strings with their ex. if they still have older connections then it is a dead giveaway that you should move out of that relationship.

4. You also need the figure out what are the weaknesses of your potential partners. You need to figure it out because you should be okay with it. If you are not then please reconsider whether you really want to be with that person.

5. Lastly, stay away from fake people. They are a huge waste of time and you will get nothing out of them. They are always trying to manipulate people for their own benefits.

There are countless other tips which could save your relationship but we will discuss it some other day. Also, don’t be too idealistic while searching a partner since your efforts might get futile or you may enter into toxic relationships.

“We kiss all the time.” I clear my throat, then add, “We just…do it in private.”
“A smug expression crosses his face. “I don’t buy it for a second, ’cause if you were my girlfriend and a stud like me was livin’ in your house, I’d kiss you in front of the guy every chance I got as a reminder.”
“A reminder of w-w-what?”
“That you were mine.”

“I dunno.” She sat on the bench and hugged the robe like a pillow. “I still think that Brett guy is cute.”
“Good luck getting him away from Bekka.” Cleo gathered her silky black hair into a high pony and pink-dabbed Smith’s Rosebud Salve on her lips. “She’s got more grip than Crazy Glue.”
“More cling than Saran Wrap,” Lala added.
“More hold than Final Net.” Cleo giggled.
“More possession than The Exorcist,” Lala managed.
“More clench than butt cheeks,” Blue chimed in.
“More competition than American Idol,” Frankie stuck out her chest and showed them her diva booty roll.
The girls burst out laughing.
“Nice!” Blue lifted her purple gloved hand.
Frankie slapped it without a single spark.
“I hate to be a downer…” Claudine shuffled back into the conversation wearing her slippers and robe. “But that girl will destroy you if she catches you with Brett.”
“I’m not worried,” Frankie tossed her hair back. “I’ve seen all the teen movies, and the nice girl gets the boy in the end.”

“It was bad enough not having a boyfriend for New Year’s Eve. Now I had to cope with Valentine datelessness, feeling consummate social pressure from every retailer in America who stuck hearts and cupids on their windows by January second to rub it in. (Thwonk)”
