Play a Game of “Would You Rather” and We’ll Guess If You’re Introverted or Extroverted!

Introverts are very unique creatures. Statistically speaking they are very few in terms of population. But they are really beautiful creatures. Each introvert is unique in his/her own way. I don’t know about you but I am an introvert and I am constantly in my head. I am constantly processing my thoughts and trying to come to a solution or trying to know what is there beyond the surface? I think about quite a different things and my imagination is pretty abstract in nature.

I try to decipher the real meaning of things and so on. While I would like you to say that there are many different types of introverts. Some are much more analytical and logical than I am. They are constantly searching for patterns in almost everything. They are always trying to predict things based on patterns. They also have a tendency to gain knowledge about almost anything on the planet. I think they are the most informed creatures on the planet. Their knowledge is so deep that you would be humbled by it.

They themselves are very humble in nature but sometimes are considered aloof of their surroundings. It might seem to you that they are cold and don’t possess any enthusiasm but deep down they are always traversing to new paths and ideas. It all happens in their heads. They could also be visionaries and have the ability to see things in an entirely new way. History has showed us time and again that people with these qualities could really bend the ways we humans think right now. There are many things which are to be considered.

“Introverts, in contrast, may have strong social skills and enjoy parties and business meetings, but after a while wish they were home in their pajamas. They prefer to devote their social energies to close friends, colleagues, and family. They listen more than they talk, think before they speak, and often feel as if they express themselves better in writing than in conversation. They tend to dislike conflict. Many have a horror of small talk, but enjoy deep discussions.”
― Susan Cain, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking

“When you’re socially awkward, you’re isolated more than usual, and when you’re isolated more than usual, your creativity is less compromised by what has already been said and done. All your hope in life starts to depend on your craft, so you try to perfect it. One reason I stay isolated more than the average person is to keep my creativity as fierce as possible. Being the odd one out may have its temporary disadvantages, but more importantly, it has its permanent advantages.”
― Criss Jami, Killosophy

“Spend your free time the way you like, not the way you think you’re supposed to. Stay home on New Year’s Eve if that’s what makes you happy. Skip the committee meeting. Cross the street to avoid making aimless chitchat with random acquaintances. Read. Cook. Run. Write a story. Make a deal with yourself that you’ll attend a set number of social events in exchange for not feeling guilty when you beg off.”
― Susan Cain, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking

“Leave an extrovert alone for two minutes and he will reach for his cell phone. In contrast, after an hour or two of being socially “on,” we introverts need to turn off and recharge. My own formula is roughly two hours alone for every hour of socializing. This isn’t antisocial. It isn’t a sign of depression. It does not call for medication. For introverts, to be alone with our thoughts is as restorative as sleeping, as nourishing as eating. Our motto: “I’m okay, you’re okay—in small doses.”
