QUIZ: Who would be your Game of Thrones boyfriend?

As it was expected of Baratheon men, Robert Baratheon just like his brother has the remarkable skill for warfare and leadership. Despite of being gentler than his brother Stannis, and less intelligent than Really; he was a mesmerising yet terrifying military commander along with being an intimidating warrior. His dominance over his armies was a clear portrayal of his skill of being able to command and forge strong relationships with others through war.

Considered a good man at heart which he eventually proved he was, yet was often mistaken for his external appearance and the persona he had of a brutal and heavy-drinking party animal. His affection towards strong drinks, women, tourneys and extravagant parties reflected when he was consumed by the grief of losing Lyanna. The comments of him being a drunken fool often seemed to be true to an extent, but he did posses a powerful empire unlike anyone else. He felt a deep loss of purpose after the death of Lyanna and no battles to fight which consumed him and he lost his fighting form. Though he never mentioned that the only reason he didn’t retire from the throne was to avoid Joffrey or Cersei from getting control of the realm, it was apparent that he knew that his heir and wife would be more ruthless and as incompetent as he was.

As he was a soldier, he loved to be an incompetent and an awful ruler as neither did he comprehend nor cared about the administration which is also why he kept ignoring the advice of his council. He could use his agency and power of the throne to bring an end to the mutual hostilities between the Starks and the Lannisters, but he didn’t do so rather ordered Ned to release Tyrion to make peace with Jaime after which he left for his entertainments. Though he proved to be outstanding in putting down the rebellion towards the throne, as he was more excited about fighting battles than just ruling, which concludes that he would have been an excellent Master of War than a king.
