This App Quiz Will Reveal Which Generation You’re In

The Greatest Generation (also known as the GI Generation) is a group of people who were born between 1924 and 1964.
To honour Americans who lived through the Great Depression and then fought in WWII, Tom Brokaw coined the word “Greatest Generation.” The word “Greatest Generation” was popularised by his best-selling book “The Greatest Generation” in 1998.
John F. Kennedy, the first president from the Greatest Generation, was born in 1917. Between 1901 and 1924, four other presidents were born: Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard M. Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, and George H.W. Bush.

Between 1925 and 1945, there was a generation known as the Silent Generation (Sometimes listed as 1925-1942).

Since they were more reserved than their ancestors, this generation was called the “Silent Generation” in a 1951 essay in Time magazine. “As compared to their forefathers and mothers’ ‘Flaming Youth,’ today’s younger generation is a quiet, tiny flame.”
Pioneering rock stars, legendary filmmakers, television icons, beat poets, gonzo writers, and innovative political satirists were all part of the Silent Generation, which helped form pop culture in the twentieth century.
There have been no presidents from the Silent Generation.

People born between 1946 and 1964 are known as the “Baby Boomers” (Sometimes listed as 1943-1964)
The term “baby boomer” was coined to describe a surge in birth rates following WWII.
There were nearly 2.4 million baby boomers by the end of 1946, the first year of the baby boom. There were almost 72.5 million baby boomers in 1964, the final year of the generation. With 78.8 million baby boomers born between 1946 and 1964, the population peaked in 1999, with 78.8 million people.
Bill Clinton was the first President of the United States to be born after World War II. Baby boomers include Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.
According to the Census, the baby boom started in 1946, but Howe and Strauss, writers of the seminal 1991 book “Generations: The History of America’s Future,” argued that it began as a social and cultural phenomenon in 1943.

Generation X is the generation that came after the Baby Boomers
1965 to 1980 (On occasion, 1965-1979 is listed.)
The chapter “Class X” in historian Paul Fussell’s 1983 book “Class: A Guide Through the American Status System” was titled “Class X.” “Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture,” by novelist Douglas Coupland, was published in 1991 and was the first book to use the concept.
There have been no presidents from Generation X.
According to a 2014 Pew survey, despite the fact that 75% of this generation earns more than baby boomers did at the same age, only 36% have more income than their parents due to debt.
According to Pew, Generation X and millennials accounted for over half of the electorate in the 2016 presidential election. Younger voters outnumbered older voters, although by a small margin, for the first time in decades. Millennials and Generation X voters (ages 18-51) cast 69.6 million ballots, compared to 67.9 million for Baby Boomers and older voters (age 52 and up).
Generation X will outnumber baby boomers by 2028, according to Pew Research.
