What Is Your Sense Of Humor?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic What is your sense of humor? Different people have a different sense of humor. This is the beauty of human beings. We may all be almost genetically identical beings but yet we are so different. There are many people who love sarcasm. Some people are naturally sarcastic and it makes the conversation fun with them. Though be careful if you are being sarcastic because it has been found that sarcastic comments hurts people more than blunt criticism.

I don’t know if the research has found its place in famous peer-reviewed journals so take it with a grain of salt. There are many other such research papers related to comedy. Slapstick humor is also one of the most common ones. It basically involves physical pain like smack in the head, pokes in the eyes and many other such things. It is often considered as of low quality in the comedy world but still many of the works have managed to become world-famous and is also considered of high quality be the critics.

Though it is a very old form of comedy but still you could see in many of the plays in small theaters. Many of them have been written a long time ago so keep that in mind. Humor which is considered of high quality is witty humor. It is highly praised by the critics and people also love it. It requires quick thinking and knowledge of the thing you are talking about. It leaves a lasting impression on anyone whom you meet for the first time. Many actors and actresses are known to use this type of humor to answer mean questions asked by journalists.I hope you liked my short article.

“I used to think that finding the right one was about the man having a list of certain qualities. If he has them, we’d be compatible and happy. Sort of a checkmark system that was a complete failure. But I found out that a healthy relationship isn’t so much about sense of humor or intelligence or attractive. It’s about avoiding partners with harmful traits and personality types. And then it’s about being with a good person. A good person on his own, and a good person with you. Where the space between you feels uncomplicated and happy. A good relationship is where things just work. They work because, whatever the list of qualities, whatever the reason, you happen to be really, really good together.”
― Deb Caletti, The Secret Life of Prince Charming

“Senses of humor define people, as factions, deeper rooted than religious or political opinions. When carrying out everyday tasks, opinions are rather easy to set aside, but those whom a person shares a sense of humor with are his closest friends. They are always there to make the biggest influence.”
― Criss Jami, Killosophy

“It stands to reason that anyone who learns to live well will die well. The skills are the same: being present in the moment, and humble, and brave, and keeping a sense of humor. (361)”
― Victoria Moran, Younger by the Day: 365 Ways to Rejuvenate Your Body and Revitalize Your Spirit

“And I ask myself what it is about me that makes this wonderful, beautiful woman return. Is it because I’m pathetic, helpless in my current state, completely dependent on her? Or is it my sense of humour, my willingness to tease her, to joke my way into painful, secret places? Do I help her understand herself? Do I make her happy? Do I do something for her that her husband and son can’t do? Has she fallen in love with me?

As the days pass and I continue to heal, my body knitting itself back together, I begin to allow myself to think that she has.”
― Mohsin Hamid, Moth Smoke

“I was tempted to tell her it was because we were British and actually had a sense of humour, but I try not to be cruel to foreigners, especially when they’re that strung out.”
― Ben Aaronovitch, Whispers Under Ground
