What is Your True Profession?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic What is your true profession? The profession is one thing that defines us. If we don’t pay heed to our choices in life then we might end up being in the wrong profession. And trust me there is nothing more bad then being in a place where you don’t belong to. I have been there and done that. You would just not feel that you belonged to that place.

Also, since you are wired for a different job or rather business you would have a hard time adapting to the thing you don’t love. Here is my advice if you don’t love your job there is just no point in doing it. While if you have a family to support then you need to take your steps carefully. One more thing which I would like to point out is that your company is not your family. The reason why I pointed out is because many companies are promoting this company family thing which is just not true. They are your colleagues not your family. If you are in this illusion that they are your family and they always think for your good then be advised.

The companies promote this because it makes profits for them. The employees are trapped into this emotion and work more and also they don’t tend to leave that company for their selfish reasons. But if the company feels that they no longer need you then they could fire you in a fraction of a second. The companies are only there for making profits and if you are coming in between their profits then good luck.

I hope you are getting what I am trying to say. I hope you liked my short article. If you have any further insights into the topic then feel free to share it down into the comments section below. Play the quiz as well and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. I hope to see you in my next article.

“Most people think, when they’re young, that they’re going to the top of their chosen world, and that the climb up is only a formality. Without that faith, I suppose, they might never start. Somewhere on the way they lift their eyes to the summit and know they aren’t going to reach it; and happiness then is looking down and enjoying the view they’ve got, not envying the one they haven’t.”

“…My dad, may he rest in
peace, taught me many wonderful things. And one of the things he taught me was never ask a guy what you do for a living.

He said “If you think about it, when you ask a guy, what do you do you do for a living,” you’re saying “how may I gauge the rest of your utterances.” are you smarter than I am? Are you richer than I am, poorer than I am?”

So you ask a guy what do you do for a living, it’s the same thing as
asking a guy, let me know what your politics are before I listen to you so
I know whether or not you’re part of my herd, in which case I can nod
knowingly, or part of the other herd, in which case I can wish you dead.”
― David Mamet

“Growing up, I always had a soldier mentality. As a kid I wanted to be a soldier, a fighter pilot, a covert agent, professions that require a great deal of bravery and risk and putting oneself in grave danger in order to complete the mission. Even though I did not become all those things, and unless my predisposition, in its youngest years, already had me leaning towards them, the interest that was there still shaped my philosophies. To this day I honor risk and sacrifice for the good of others – my views on life and love are heavily influenced by this.”
