It is a no-brainer that there are different types of boyfriends. While it is impossible to make a list which covers almost all the boyfriends that you could find out there. We could still list a few of the most common ones. You may find it useful since knowing them better will make you more likely to be successful in your relationship.
Here are a few of the most common types of boyfriends:
1.The overtly romantic one
They are the most emotionally attached when it comes to romantic relationships. Though there is nothing wrong with it sometimes they could be a bit clingy. Nonetheless, they are also often the most caring and supporting boyfriends. You may find yourself bombarded with romantic lines that will often make you laugh and love him more at the same time.
2.The Repressed one
These type will repress their emotions unlike any other. You may feel that they are very difficult to get to. There could be a gap of weeks, months or years in showing their emotions for you. They are highly observant in nature and could easily remember trivial details of any situation. While they might not be the most engaging ones but they are not always bad at heart.
3.The Jerk
You will find such boyfriends more often than not. They don’t bother about your personality and view you either as a trophy or an object. They might seem extremely charming to you but they are experts when it comes to cheating. Try to stay away from them as much as you can.
4.The Jealous one
They are the most insecure when it comes to romantic relationships. Most of them are also very insecure in general. They might get over possessive at times and judge you every step of the way. Trust issues are common and even if you talk with your childhood male friend they will consider it as the end of the relationship. Stay away from them as well.
Just remember that no one is inherently good or bad, there will be pros and cons of each of them. Be sure to know what you want from a relationship.
“I like your boyfriend,” Dahra said. “Not many guys volunteer to carry ten gallons of diarrhea and vomit.”
Lana laughed. “He’s not my boyfriend.”
“Yeah, well, he can be mine if he wants to be. He’s cute. And he carries crap.”

“Watching a make-out while wrapped in a blanket with a guy she wanted to make out with made her feel exposed. Obvious. Transparent. Like her thoughts were flashing before his eyes.
Finally Brett managed to pull away without consent of Bekka’s lips. The confusion created a sloppy bite-a-juicy-peach sound. Everyone cringed.”

“Guys don’t understand great art. They don’t care that sometimes the camera has power beyond the photographer to record emotion that only the heart can see. They’re threatened when the camera jumps ahead of me. Todd Kovich was pissed when I brought my Nikon to the prom, but I’d missed too many transcendent shots over the years to ever take a chance of missing one again. A prom, I told him, had a boundless supply of photogenic bozos who could be counted on to do something base.”

“Do you think they have ice cream here?” Lanie asked.
Kyle cocked his eyebrow, obviously surprised by her question. “I have no idea. Why do you ask?”
“Because I like ice cream when I’m stressed,” she replied, thinking she wasn’t just stressed. She was burning up and needed something cold.
“I don’t mean to cause you anxiety. Don’t worry. I’ll get you ice cream whether they have it here or not, if that’s what you want.”
“Wow, Kyle, that’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me,” she replied with a smile.”

“I love it when he gives me that look he has that says, not just that he loves me, but that he always will. – Celestra Caine, FADE by Kailin Gow”
