What Makes You Special?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic What makes you special? You know each one of us are unique in some way or the other. You might say that hey but why we are so average in our lives? I would like to say then that you have not recognized your hidden talent. This is the difference between people who are insanely successful and the ones who are not. In many of the interviews of superstars, I have heard that they realized at a very young age that they wanted to do that particular thing.

Most of them have this clarity in their childhood itself. Compare that to an average person, most of us are not able to recognize our talent even in our 30s or entire life for that matter. It is a very contrasting difference between the common and the special people. They are really different and have great potential in achieving great things. If we take a look at the personality types in the Enneagram then you would realize that the type who is most likely to have this problem is type 9.

They don’t realize what they want in their life or for that matter they don’t have their preferences known as well. They take other’s agenda onto their own and never realize that they are different and they must have their own choices regarding life. It is the most common weaknesses of type 9. It is also one of the most common types and this is why you would see most of the people suffering from this problem. If they want to solve this problem then you must tap on your wings which is type 8 and type 1.

I hope you liked my short article. If you are type 9 then share your experiences down in the comments section below if you have ever experienced the same. Play the quiz as well and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. I hope to see you in my next article.

“Before I go on with this short history, let me make a general observation– the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.
One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless and yet be determined to make them otherwise. This philosophy fitted on to my early adult life, when I saw the improbable, the implausible, often the “impossible,” come true.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Crack-Up

“Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. Animals obtain food by force. man had no claws, no fangs, no horns, no great strength of muscle. He must plant his food or hunt it. To plant, he needs a process of thought. To hunt, he needs weapons, and to make weapons – a process of thought. From this simplest necessity to the highest religious abstraction, from the wheel to the skyscraper, everything we are and we have comes from a single attribute of man -the function of his reasoning mind.”
― Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead

“The first men to be created and formed were called the Sorcerer of Fatal Laughter, the Sorcerer of Night, Unkempt, and the Black Sorcerer … They were endowed with intelligence, they succeeded in knowing all that there is in the world. When they looked, instantly they saw all that is around them, and they contemplated in turn the arc of heaven and the round face of the earth … [Then the Creator said]: ‘They know all … what shall we do with them now? Let their sight reach only to that which is near; let them see only a little of the face of the earth!… Are they not by nature simple creatures of our making? Must they also be gods?”
― Anonymous, Popol Vuh
“Because there are three classes of intellects: one which comprehends by itself; another which appreciates what others comprehend; and a third which neither comprehends by itself nor by the showing of others; the first is the most excellent, the second is good, the third is useless.”
― Niccolò Machiavelli, The Prince
