What Ocean Animal Are You?

Water plays one of the key roles for all life forms on a planet. It is the search of this water which has led to several space explorations costing billions of dollars. Water has such prime significance in space exploration that if it is found on other planets then it is pretty much sure that life either exists there currently or used to exist in the past. Without water, no life form could survive. If you look at your daily life then you would realize that water apart from drinking has many other purposes like washing clothes, bathing, food (plants and animals), and many more.

Without water, we could not even survive a day. Water is very precious but due to our selfishness, freshwater resources are depleting very fast. In India for example, there is a huge scarcity of drinking water in many parts of the country. Even in tier 1 cities like Delhi don’t have enough clean drinking water. Last year South India also faced a major water crisis which had huge consequences. This is a problem in many developing countries.

It mainly happens because citizens are less educated and don’t know how to conserve water, poor execution of rules and regulations in sewage, waste, and effluents being dumped in rivers or lakes. There are many more reasons but the point is that water is a very precious resource and if we lose it, then it is going to create even more chaos in society.

If we go along this route then a time would come when water will come with hefty price tags and only the rich would be able to afford it. There are many intelligent solutions to present water crisis in these countries but the level of effectiveness will lie in the level of willingness.

A water management technique that an individual could try is: Savings might not be the best option in the financial world but in water management, it is one of the most effective ways to conserve water at an individual level. There are many meters and management systems that could help you in achieving that. There are many other ways to save water which you could search on the internet. “The sea is emotion incarnate. It loves, hates, and weeps. It defies all attempts to capture it with words and rejects all shackles. No matter what you say about it, there is always that which you can’t.”
― Christopher Paolini, Eragon

“I was always an unusual girl.
My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean.”
― Lana Del Rey

“I have been feeling very clearheaded lately and what I want to write about today is the sea. It contains so many colors. Silver at dawn, green at noon, dark blue in the evening. Sometimes it looks almost red. Or it will turn the color of old coins. Right now the shadows of clouds are dragging across it, and patches of sunlight are touching down everywhere. White strings of gulls drag over it like beads.

It is my favorite thing, I think, that I have ever seen. Sometimes I catch myself staring at it and forget my duties. It seems big enough to contain everything anyone could ever feel.”
― Anthony Doerr, All the Light We Cannot See

“Everybody has a little bit of the sun and moon in them. Everybody has a little bit of man, woman, and animal in them. Darks and lights in them. Everyone is part of a connected cosmic system. Part earth and sea, wind and fire, with some salt and dust swimming in them. We have a universe within ourselves that mimics the universe outside. None of us are just black or white, or never wrong and always right. No one. No one exists without polarities. Everybody has good and bad forces working with them, against them, and within them.
