Which Hogwarts Student Would You Win Against In A Duel?

Put to the Test

Conducted by a group researchers was a study which analysed more than 90,000 survey responses which included data collected from face-to-face tests, and online data bases. The data included in this study published in Science Advances on Wednesday, came from people of 23 countries such as Bolivia, Sri Lanka, Kenya and others.

The reason behind the study was the realisation by the team that such tests often exclude traits of people in developing countries, hence the test results by these people were neither reliable nor authentic. Most strikingly, an odd contradiction related to personality and job success was a key observation that cast doubt on the cross-country applicability of these tests.

According to the general assumptions cognitive abilities like maths or literacy skills play a key role in determining success in complex jobs whereas in less-complex jobs the predictor of success is personality which defines how digest or emotionally stable a person is.

But it was discovered through the data collected that the contrary was true. The population engaged in less-complex jobs required cognitive skills than personality for the success of the job. This was a data which was very different from what has been studied before; this was because the questionnaire wasn’t filled properly. For instance, people who who strongly agreed about them being highly organised also highly agreed to them being highly careless.such contradictory answers throughout the study led to collection of an incorrect data.

“Why were you lurking under our window?”
“Yes – yes, good point, Petunia! What were you doing under our windows, boy?”
“Listening to the news,” said Harry in a resigned voice.
His aunt and uncle exchanged looks of outrage.
“Listening to the news! Again?”
“Well, it changes every day, you see,” said Harry.”

“He accused me of being Dumbledore’s man through and through.”
“How very rude of him.”
“I told him I was.”
Dumbledore opened his mouth to speak and then closed it again. Fawkes the phoenix let out a low, soft, musical cry. To Harry’s intense embarrassment, he suddenly realized that Dumbledore’s bright blue eyes looked rather watery, and stared hastily at his own knee. When Dumbledore spoke, however, his voice was quite steady.
“I am very touched, Harry.”

“An Unbreakable Vow?” said Ron, looking stunned. “Nah, he can’t have…. Are you sure?”
“Yes I’m sure,” said Harry. “Why, what does it mean?”
“Well, you can’t break an Unbreakable Vow…”
“I’d worked that much out for myself, funnily enough.”

“It’s going to be all right, sir,” Harry said over and over again, more worried by Dumbledore’s silence than he had been by his weakened voice. “We’re nearly there … I can Apparate us both back … don’t worry …”
“I am not worried, Harry,” said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. “I am with you.”

“Seventeen, eh!” said Hagrid as he accepted a bucket-sized glass of wine from Fred.
“Six years to the day we met, Harry, d’yeh remember it?”
“Vaguely,” said Harry, grinning up at him. “Didn’t you smash down the front door, give Dudley a pig’s tail, and tell me I was a wizard?”
“I forge’ the details,” Hagrid chortled.”
