Which Stereotype Are You?

Hey there guys. How was your day? I hope you all are doing well. Today we will be discussing an important topic Which stereotype are you? Stereotypes are the one thing that all humans love to do. There are many reasons and scientists believe that our evolution may be responsible for it. Though they still don’t know the exact reason for it.

Many more research has been going on this field. You are stereotyped right from your high school days till the day you die. It is one of the most interesting aspect of human life. In high schools you are being stereotyped as nerds, the social butterfly, class clown, the reserved one and many such things. I don’t know from where does all these names comes from but I believe that majority of the things which we see come from different cultures. Whatever it maybe I just don’t like to be stereotyped and it is such a bad thing to do.

There are many drawbacks to this type of stereotyping. What the stereotypes do is they damage your self-esteem and makes you less confident. I believe that all of us are unique and none of us can be put into a group. It is just outright derogatory and it must be stopped. You might have seen many children who are complaining about all this bs and I think they are doing the right thing. It is also said that stereotyping leads to bullying and other such things. It is true that it doesn’t matters how smart we call ourselves but we are doing the same thing as animals. We are intelligent creatures and we must behave like that. There are many such things which we need to consider before damaging someone’s self image. Humans also have a tendency of self-sabotaging which makes them more vulnerable to such things.

I hope you liked my short article. If you have any further insights into the topic then feel free to share it down in the comments section below. Play the quiz as well and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. I hope to see you in my next article.

“Wherever you find a great man, you will find a great mother or a great wife standing behind him — or so they used to say. It would be interesting to know how many great women have had great fathers and husbands behind them.”
― Dorothy L. Sayers, Gaudy Night

“I do not think I ever opened a book in my life which had not something to say upon woman’s inconstancy. Songs and proverbs, all talk of woman’s fickleness. But perhaps you will say, these were all written by men.”

“Perhaps I shall. Yes, yes, if you please, no reference to examples in books. Men have had every advantage of us in telling their own story. Education has been theirs in so much higher a degree; the pen has been in their hands. I will not allow books to prove anything.”
― Jane Austen, Persuasion

“Do you really believe … that everything historians tell us about men – or about women – is actually true? You ought to consider the fact that these histories have been written by men, who never tell the truth except by accident.”
― Moderata Fonte, The Worth of Women: Wherein Is Clearly Revealed Their Nobility and Their Superiority to Men

“If men could see us as we really are, they would be a little amazed; but the cleverest, the acutest men are often under an illusion about women: they do not read them in a true light: they misapprehend them, both for good and evil: their good woman is a queer thing, half doll, half angel; their bad woman almost always a fiend.”
― Charlotte Brontë, Shirley
